Influenced by contemporary artists such as Lana Del Rey, Dua Lipa, and Freya Ridings, Maria Marr blends modern pop with timeless influences to create a sound that is both fresh and emotionally captivating. Known for her evocative lyrics and unique melodies, Maria is quickly establishing herself as an exciting emerging voice in the music scene.

Maria’s journey began while studying Music Production in preparation for university, where she wrote her breakthrough single “Play It Wrong”, earning her first BBC Music Introducing radio play. She went on to study at The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (ICMP) in London, honing her skills in songwriting, composition, and performance, and graduating with Honours with a Degree in Vocal Performance.
